Christian, Religious, Ecclesiastical, and Holistic Providers

Obtain a Licentiate-level license and safeguard your services while contributing to the movement that aims to assist individuals in naturally enhancing their health by joining the N.A.I.C. Legal Shield Community as a Licentiate-licensed member.


N.A.I.C. Holistic Health “L.C.H.T.” Providers: N.A.I.C., L.C.H.T. Authorized Providers are identified and authorized to assist members (clients) with holistic health through holistic endorsement. Although not mandatory, members may request that you incorporate spiritual or faith-based material into your services. Which holistic therapies are encompassed within the L.C.H.T. License umbrella of protection?

Please note: Active membership in NAIC is required as a prerequisite BEFORE any application for Certification or license process can begin. Other NAIC Memberships are available for those who want to support the ministry.

NAIC Licenses offered: Primary License is the LCHT. However, additional License qualifications are available based on educational qualifications and ministry.

Licensed Clinical Holistic Therapist: LCHT: Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Christian Counselor: LCC: A layperson working in a counseling or mental health field meeting certain requirements. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Pastoral Counselor: LCP: A Minister who holds a Bachelor’s degree and has completed an internship under recognized supervision in Pastoral Counseling. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist: LCCT: A person who holds a Master’s degree in mental health and has completed practicum, internship and supervision. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Clinical Christian Social Worker: LCCSW: A person who hold an MSW degree from an accredited college or university. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: LCMFT: A person who holds a Master’s degree and has completed practicum, internship and supervision. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Clinical Christian Psychologist: LCCP (for Ph.D.’s or E.D.’s. or equivilent): A person who holds a Ph.D. in Psychology or related discipline, including Advanced Certification in Energy Psychology, therapeutics for Spiritual, Emotional, Mental and psychological illness, having completed internship and supervision. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Board Certified Chaplain: LBCC: A NAIC Member who holds an active NAIC certification or license in Christian or Pastoral Counseling and/or meets the other educational, training, and experience in chaplaincy and passes Chaplaincy Board examination and approval. Having completed minimum required NAIC Approved education. internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Licensed Native American Addiction Care Counselor: LNAACC: An NAIC Member-person who holds a ACNM Doctoral Degree with substantial focus on Native American Medicine, Ph.D. in Psychology or related discipline, including Advanced Certification in Energy Psychology, therapeutics for Spiritual, Emotional, Mental and psychological illness. Having completed internship/ externship and supervision with satisfaction and authorization of NAIC Tribal Org. Board of Elders.

Ecclesiastical Providers: Those authorized to instruct members on the doctrinal principles of their faith (e.g., Holy Bible, Torah, etc.) are granted the spiritual endorsement. Counseling for pastors is one example.

Concerning the N.A.I.C., L.C.H.T. License Program:

As an alternative provider holding a Licentiate license from the N.A.I.C. Legal Shield, you will have access to the HIGHEST quality legal protection for your services, irrespective of the type of provider you are.

Furthermore, one can rest assured that their holistic modalities or spiritual services will be safeguarded in every U.S. state and internationally.

To become eligible for membership in the N.A.I.C. as a holistic ecclesiastical provider, one must satisfy the following criteria:

N.A.I.C. Legal Shield, Who qualifies?
N.A.I.C., L.C.H.T. Member License Requirements.
  • Presently engaged in the provision of comprehensive or ecclesiastical services or undergoing preparation to do so
  • Have an interest in offering lawful and secure Christian Counseling, Holistic, Bible cogent alternative services?
  • Devoted to empowering clients to manage their health and well-being using N.A.I.C.-approved or authorized natural holistic practices.
  • Demonstrate that you have completed accredited training in the holistic modalities or ecclesiastical services you provide (either through a certification program, an academic institution, or another recognized form of training that fulfills the N.A.I.C., LCHT-License requirements). OR by completing the N.A.I.C. Legal Shield Ministry Online Seminary Online Certificate Course.
  • Capable of undergoing a background check to authenticate or verify your identity and have no significant or pending criminal offenses.
  • Participate in an N.A.I.C. Blessing Ceremony with Dr. Anthony B. James during a regularly scheduled N.A.I.C. Ceremony or by private appointment. There is never a charge for the ceremony. However, this must be completed before final authorizations-ordinations can be issued. Call or email if you have questions regarding this requirement.
  • Holding current Red Cross-approved or equivalent Adult CPR/AED Online. Additional current First Aid and or Emergency Responder Certifications may qualify.
